Privacy Policy

Naimi Apps ("we", "our", "us") builds privacy-first apps for iOS. This policy applies to all Naimi Apps products and services, including Naimi Remote (bundle id app.naimiremote.tv), and explains what limited information we may receive, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We don't require an account. We don't upload your content to our servers. We don't sell your data. We don't use third-party advertising trackers, analytics, or profiling SDKs.

Naimi Remote lets you control your Android TV from your iPhone. To do this, it communicates directly with your TV over your local Wi-Fi network using the AndroidTVRemote protocol/SDK. All of the following stays on your device and your local network — none of it is ever sent to Naimi Apps:

• TV pairing credentials and certificates (stored locally in the iOS Keychain on your iPhone).
• Discovered TVs, device names, and IP addresses (kept on your device only).
• Remote-control commands you send (sent directly from your iPhone to your TV over your local network — they do not traverse our servers).

Naimi Remote does not collect any personal data. We do not operate any backend servers that process your usage data. Everything is kept locally.

• Diagnostics (opt-in):If you opt in to "Share With App Developers" in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share anonymized crash reports and performance metrics with us. This data is provided by Apple, not collected by the app, and cannot identify you.
• Support email: If you contact us, we receive the email address and message you send. We use it only to reply to you.
• App Store metrics: Apple provides aggregated, anonymized download and engagement metrics in App Store Connect. We cannot identify individuals from this data.

Any information we receive is used solely to operate, fix bugs in, and improve our apps, or to respond to support requests. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

You can disable diagnostics sharing at any time in iOS Settings. You can request a copy or deletion of any support correspondence by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or CCPA (California) — including the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal data. Contact privacy@naimiapps.com to make a request.

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above when we do.
